                        Moong Khatta Salna(Puli kulambu)             

Ingredients

1/2 onions paste 
3 tomatoes paste 
4 -5 tbsp oil 
Salt to taste 
2 tsp Red chilli pwd 
1 tsp haldi 
2 tsp dhania pwd (Coriander )
1 tsp (Slightly roasted – Cumin 2 tsp, Fenugreek  1 tsp ) – ground together 
2 Tbsp Coconut paste 
4 tbsp Tamarind Pulp 

PROCESS

1)Boil 1/4 cup moong in a cooker.
2)Take Kadai, add onions paste fry 3-4 mins add tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and fry well till oil oozes out.
3) Add the boiled moong into the onion tomato paste.
4)Add water abt 2 cups boil add coconut paste and cook for 10 mins .
5)Finally add Tamarind pulp and ½ tsp slightly roasted mix along with coriander leaves.
6)In a pan add oil splutter mustard seeds and few curry leaves. Add this to kadai. Simmer for few minutes and Serve hot with steam rice.
