Moong Dhal Kheer



( Pasi Paruppu ) Green Gram


  • Boil Moong Dal in cooker or kadai for 10 min then smash it.
  • Add 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of water to 1 cup of dal. 
  • Allow  it to cook for 5 min then add  jaggery , 1/4 cup of coconut and cook for another 5 min.
  • In a pan heat 1 table spoon ghee.  fry cashews, raisins and cardamom, clove and cinnamon 1 each.
  • add the contents in pan to moong dal mixture.
