tomato rasam

Soak tamarind in water.
Grind garlic, cumin seeds, shallots, pepper in a mixer.
Prepare tomato paste
Add oil in a pan
splutter mustard seeds, roast the garlic mix
Add tomato paste and tamarind pulp
Finally add salt, chilli powder, asafoetida. curry leaves and coriander leaves.
heat the mixture for 5 min and serve with rice....
